Nicholas Rutherford

Alumnus - Plymouth State University, New Hampshire, (NCAA DIII)

Upper 90 College client Nick Rutherford of Plymouth State University is a standout student athlete in the USA college soccer system. Nick was a four-year starter at Plymouth State, where he earned multiple records as a men's soccer player for NCAA DIII. He was also named captain of the team and was a First Team Academic All-American, two times during his collegiate soccer career. Nick Captained Plymouth State through 2017 season and garnered All-Conference and All-Region athletic honors. Nick went onto become the Top 10 all-time in goals, assists and points in Plymouth State men's soccer history. 

Nick graduated from Plymouth State with magna cum laude honors  with a Award for Excellence in the Field of Finance. Nick then went on to pursue his Juris Doctor degree at Suffolk Law School in Boston. During his time at Suffolk, Nick was able to gain a full ride scholarship due to his impressive academic achievements. After completing his studies, Nick graduated from Suffolk Law School in Boston with honors.

Nick’s accomplishments as both an athlete and student have made him stand out among other college athletes. His hard work and dedication to both academics and athletics have paid off, allowing him to achieve success in both areas of his life. As a result of his commitment to excellence, Nick has been able to make the most of his college experience and set himself up for success after graduation.

Nick’s story is an inspiring one that shows how hard work can pay off even when faced with challenges such as balancing academics and athletics or transitioning from college sports into the professional world. It is an example that all aspiring student athletes should strive for, showing that success is possible if you are willing to put in the effort required to reach your goals.
