Our Story
I started Upper 90 College in 2010, (with a now former partner based out of the USA). My vision back then was to be able to provide a pathway to education and play via the USA college soccer system. I had the contacts locally and in the USA, I had some coaching experience as well, and I decided to start focusing on building a business with a mission to guide aspiring students and athletes across Australia into the USA college soccer system, but with a difference!
Given my background in coaching, and knowing that there were other providers locally who were running camps, I wanted to do the same. While those same providers were basically clustering 100's of players across the field and then plugging any interested player that paid them a fee onto their database which connected to college coaches in the USA, I felt that this approach was VERY hit and miss. I understood, that to really assist a college soccer program effectively, you had to really take time to vet your prospective student athletes and make sure it was the right fit for all parties involved in the recruiting process!

In 2010, we set up our very first camps in Sydney. These camps were all closed group (no more than 20 to 25 players), that were referred to me from trusted coaching sources across Sydney and abroad. I also decided to tap into my young but growing USA college soccer coaching network, and invite coaches who actually played college soccer, and were now college soccer coaches themselves to fly to Australia and assess players, while also having our experienced coaching staff create detailed player analysis of each attendee. No fluff, just real data about their strengths and weaknesses, with live presentations from college coaches about every aspect of college soccer. The good and the bad. It was a game changer!
Our initial camps were a great success, we gained our very first clients from these camps, all of whom over the years have graduated with high honors in the college soccer system as highly awarded college soccer players and students, many of whom became First Team Academic All American's and gained excellent employment opportunities in the USA or back home post their college careers...so we decided to take the show on the road right across the globe!
From 2010 onward, we travelled across South Asia, Mainland China, Europe and South America, running training sessions and information sessions with clubs, schools and academies
